Instructions:

For the orange mounds, beat egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form. Add the sugar, stirring constantly. Finally, fold in the grated orange peel.

Mix almond slivers, chopped candied orange peel and candied cherries and carefully fold into the beaten egg whites.

Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the wafers on it, making mounds with 2 teaspoons.

Let the orange mounds dry at 130 degrees for about 2-2.5 hours.
