Instructions:

For the lentil soup, peel and finely dice the onion. Sauté onion in olive oil until translucent. Add cinnamon, cumin, curry powder, bay leaves, orange peel and ginger and fry briefly.

Drain lentils and add diced carrots, pour in orange juice and vegetable soup and cook until al dente.

Remove bay leaves, season with salt and pepper. Puree 1/3 of the soup and mix into the remaining lentil soup.
