Instructions:

For the Oink, oink…. Pool party marzipan piggy cake, first preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line the bottom of the pan with baking paper and grease the edges. For the dough, roughly chop the chocolate and melt it with the butter in a bowl over a hot water bath. Then leave to cool. Beat the eggs and sugar with the beaters of a hand mixer until light and fluffy. Sift in flour and baking powder and mix with a few turns of the mixer. Fold in chocolate butter and crème fraîche in two portions with the dough scraper. Pour the batter into the pan, smooth it out and bake in the oven (center) for 35-40 minutes. Take out, slightly cooled from the mold and let cool completely.

For the ganache, chop the chocolate and place in a bowl. Heat the cream in a saucepan and pour over the chocolate. Let everything melt for about 3 minutes, then whisk until smooth. Let the ganache cool for about 30 minutes at room temperature.

Meanwhile, for the decoration, color each small portion of marzipan red and white with food coloring. Roll each portion into a strand, twist together and roll again until smooth. Fold the curled roll into a life ring.

Color the remaining marzipan pink and shape it into pigs. For the paws, shape eight coffee bean-sized ovals and press a line in the center. Shape the belly into a teardrop shape about 5 cm in size and make a small line for the belly button.
