For the nut-marzipan-gugelhupf, first roast hazelnuts, almond kernels and walnuts briefly in a frying pan without fat. Allow to cool and chop coarsely.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease a cake pan well.

Beat the butter and sugar with the whisk of the mixer until the sugar is almost dissolved. Gradually add the eggs until the mixture is very creamy.

Cut the marzipan paste into small cubes and roughly chop the chocolate. Fold in together with vanilla sugar, flour, baking powder and lemon juice and zest. Add the nuts and mix everything together well.

Fill the dough into the Gugelhupfform and bake in the heated oven for about 60 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the glaze. For this, melt the chocolate with the coconut oil at low temperature over a water bath. Coat the nut-marzipan cake with it and sprinkle with the grated hazelnuts or almonds.
