A cake recipe for all foodies:
Cream the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar, gradually add the eggs, ground nuts, baking powder, 3/4 chocolate chips and cocoa.
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease the pan with butter. Bake the cake for 40 minutes, let it stand for 10 minutes in the turned off oven. Allow the cake base to cool.
Soak the gelatine in cold water for 10 minutes, then squeeze it out, let it melt in a small pot at low temperature and mix it into the cranberries.
Whip the whipped cream until stiff. Mix half of the whipped cream with the cranberries.
Cut the cake base in half. Spread the bottom cake layer with the cranberry cream and place the second layer on top.
Spread whipped cream all around the cake. Sprinkle the edge with the remaining chocolate shavings. Pipe drops of cream on top of the cake.
