Instructions:

Cut the nectarines in half and remove the seeds. Immerse in boiling water for 30 seconds, cool and remove the skin. Immediately brush with juice of one lemon.

Roll out the puff pastry on a little flour to a thickness of 3 mm. Mix egg and condensed milk and spread half of it on the surface of the dough. Cut squares of about 14 cm side length. Sprinkle with almond kernels, leaving the corners free. Cut the marzipan into pieces and place one in each center. Place one nectarine half on each, cut side down. Loosely fold the four corners of the dough upward and press firmly. Brush with egg mixture.

Cut out decorations from the dough sections, stick them on the sleeping skirts and brush with the remaining egg mixture. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for 15 min.

Place in the middle of a 225 °C oven and bake for 20 to half an hour. Dust with powdered sugar while still warm and serve on the spot.

Serve with whipped cream, ice cream or vanilla sauce.
