Minestrone with Bacon and Pasta

Instructions:

1. dice bacon into small cubes. Cut the garlic into slices. Rinse the vegetables and clean or remove the peel. Cut celery and carrots into narrow slices. Divide broccoli into roses, remove peel from stems and dice. Cut white cabbage into bite-sized pieces, dice potatoes.

Heat oil in a soup pot, fry bacon cubes in it while stirring until light brown. Add garlic and sauté until translucent. 3.

Add vegetables and sauté for about 2 minutes. Add 11/2 liters hot water and season with 1 tsp salt. Do everything for 20 min. on medium heat with the lid closed.

4. chop the parsley, stir into the soup and season with salt and pepper, then add the pasta to the soup and cook until done in another 15 min. Sprinkle the cheese over each unit as desired.

Tip: Italian bread is delicious with this.
