Rinse the melanzane, cut lengthwise into slices. Salt. Stand for 20 min. Rinse. Crush garlic cloves. Heat 4 tablespoons olive oil. Brown garlic in it. Stir in paradeis pulp, season with salt, season with pepper. Chop basil, add, boil down to a thick sauce. Heat the remaining olive oil in a saucepan.

Fry the melanzan slices in the hot oil until golden brown. Drain well on kitchen paper. Put a few tablespoons of tomato sauce in an ovenproof dish. Then alternate layers of melanza slices, tomato sauce, grated Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese cut into fine slices, finely chopped ham, until all the ingredients are used up. Finally, a layer of slices of melanzana. Pour tomato sauce, sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Bake in the oven at medium heat for about half an hour. This dish can also be served cooled.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will give your dish a wonderful touch!
