For the meatballs in hot sauce, process the ingredients for the meatballs together well, season with salt, pepper and lemon zest.

For the sauce, heat butter in a frying pan. Saute onions until soft, add peppers and paradeis pulp. Sauté at low temperature for about 15 minutes. If necessary, stir in a little water.

Form small balls from the meat mixture with wet hands.

Heat oil in a small saucepan. Put flour in a plate. Roll the balls in flour and fry in the hot oil for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Remove and drain on paper towels. Keep warm.

Season the sauce with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Arrange the meatballs in hot sauce and serve.
