1. ) Mix canola oil with water and juice of one lemon.
2. ) Then layer in a baking dish: a layer of kitchen herbs (3-4 stalks each of oregano, mint and thyme), garlic and lemon zest, a layer of cheese and then repeatedly end with a layer of kitchen herbs.
3. ) Pour the marinade over it and let it sit for at least twelve hours.
Our tip: If you like to cook with fresh herbs, it is best to get kitchen herbs in pots – so you always have everything ready!
