Instructions:

For the marble cake in a glass, first cream the butter with powdered sugar, mix well the flour with the baking powder and sugar.

Mix the milk with the eggs and slowly pour into the butter mixture, divide this mass into two halves.

Stir the vanilla sugar into one half and the chocolate into the other half.

Pour 25 g each of both masses into the prepared jars, carefully draw patterns in the mass with a small spoon handle.

If using glass lids, seal the jars immediately; if using TO jars, place them unsealed in the oven.

Bake the marble cake at 180 °C for 30 minutes, if using TO jars, seal them tightly after the 30 minutes and let cool in the sealed oven for another 15 minutes or so. Glass lidded jars can be removed from the oven after just 5 minutes of cooling.

When cooling further outside the oven, place the jars on a cloth and cover the marble cake in the jar with another cloth to cool completely.
