Preheat the oven to 160 °C for the marble cake. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Cream butter with sugar and vanilla sugar.

Slowly add yolks and beat until very fluffy. Add QimiQ and mix well. First fold the flour and baking powder into the mixture, then fold in the beaten egg whites. Pour half of the mixture into a mold.

Fold cocoa into the other remaining half, pour onto the light mixture and spiralize with a fork to create a nice marbling.

Bake the cake for about 50 minutes.
