For Mamas Grießschmarr’n boil the milk and add the semolina. Stir until a solid mass is formed.

Melt the butter in a pan and add the solid semolina mixture. Cover and let stand for about 1 hour.

Roast the mixture in the pan, stirring constantly (the longer you roast the mixture, the darker the Schmarr’n will be and the smaller the pieces will be). Add sugar to taste and roast.

Serve Mamas Grießschmarr’n with plum roast.
