Pick the lettuce or cut into strips, slice the cucumber, cut the tomatoes into eighths and cut the feta into 1 cm cubes.

Arrange a bed of green leaf lettuce on a large plate, spread the cucumber slices evenly on the outer edge of the plate, spread the tomato eighths, black olives and feta cubes evenly decoratively on the plate, add the capers and sprinkle with fresh chopped or dried basil. Drizzle with olive oil.

Further seasoning is not necessary, because both feta cheese and olives and capers contain enough salt and acid.
