Linz Stars

For the Linzer stars, knead flour and butter in a bowl. Fold in sugar and egg yolks and let the dough rest for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking tray with baking paper. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out star-shaped cookies.

Cut out a small star in the center of half of the cookies. Spread the cookies on the baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes.

Spread jam on the full cookies and place the cookies with the star hole on top. Sprinkle the Linz stars with powdered sugar.
