Cut the pumpkin into wedges and remove the peel, remove the seeds. Cut the slices on a cucumber slicer, season with salt, stand for 10 minutes, squeeze with kitchen paper.

Chop onion, sauté in lard. Add pumpkin. Cook for 10 minutes. Season lightly with salt, season with pepper and sugar.

Chop dill, add and simmer for 5 minutes. Drain the sauce, stir with crème fraîche, season with vinegar.

Arrange the pumpkin slices in a baking dish, pour the sauce over them and decorate with dill.
