Instructions:

Dissolve the coffee in the buttermilk.

In a second bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and chopped nuts.

Then add the beaten egg, sugar, oil and whiskey to the buttermilk mixture.

Then fold in the flour mixture.

Place the paper baking cups in the muffin pan, fill with the batter (you may want to add a walnut half on top of the batter).

Place the muffins in the preheated oven (160 °C, convection oven) for approx. 20 minutes.
