Instructions:

Put the ingredients for the cream cheese cream in a blender jug and puree with a hand blender.

Separate the egg.

Dust a tea towel with flour, place dough on it, sprinkle remaining flour on top and roll out to approx. 60 cm length.

Preheat oven to 175 °C top and bottom heat.

Spread the dough with the cream cheese, leaving about 8 cm free at the top edge. Place ham leaves side by side, spread Gouda on top of ham and sprinkle with parsley. Brush the upper edge of the dough with egg white. Roll up the strudel with the help of the cloth.

Press edge tightly and roll onto a baking paper or silicone mat so that the edge is at the bottom. Press the dough together at the ends of the roll.

Brush with egg yolk and bake for about 40 minutes. Remove from oven and let rest for another 10 minutes.

Cut strudel into slices and serve.
