Cut the rolls into slices. Put them in a suitable bowl. Pour boiled milk over them. Leave to stand for half an hour.

Remove the skin from the onion. Chop finely. Rinse and dry the parsley. Also chop finely. Heat butter in a frying pan. Fry onion cubes in it until golden brown. Fry parsley for 2 minutes. Together with salt, pepper, eggs, nutmeg and the grams to the rolls form. Mix the dough.

Rinse hands under cold water. Form dumplings.

Boil water in a saucepan. Add salt. Add dumplings. Cook for 20 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon. Serve in a baking dish.
