Instructions:

Cook finely chopped onions in a little water until soft.

Cook together with the raisins, sugar, gooseberries, ground ginger and rose bell pepper, salt and 1/4 l wine vinegar or possibly herb vinegar to a thick mass, add another 1/4 l vinegar and let it thicken.

Then pour hot into jars and seal tightly.
