Heat the butter, sugar and honey, jam and milk in a saucepan and stir in the eggs. Sieve the spices, flour, salt and baking powder into a wide bowl and gradually add the liquid ingredients, stirring continuously until a soft dough is formed. Pour into a loaf pan and bake for about an hour at medium heat (175 °C ).
