For Gärtnerbissen sausage candy with cheese, first preheat the oven to 200 degrees (hot air).

Cut sausage and Emmental cheese into bite-sized pieces. Pluck parsley leaves from the stems.

Spread the puff pastry on a work surface and cut into squares (approx. 5×5 cm). Spread thinly with mustard.

Now place sausage pieces, cheese and parsley leaves on top and fold the puff pastry cubes over the center like a golache.

Whisk egg with milk and a little salt and brush the puff pastry candies well with it.

Place the sausage candies with cheese a little apart on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
