Instructions:

Slightly warm the honey and butter, mix with the eggs, gingerbread spice, cinnamon, wheat flour, rye flour and baking powder to form a dough. Knead in the finely chopped fruit and nuts.

Let the dough rest for about 1 hour.

Then roll out to about 8 mm thick and cut out any shapes. Spread gingerbread on a baking sheet covered with baking paper and brush with milk.

Cover with halved walnuts and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for approx. 12-15 minutes.
