For the fillet of beef with chanterelles, clean the chanterelles and halve them if necessary.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash and clean the leek and cut into strips. Shred the rump steak and then fry the meat in oil over high heat – then remove.

Add chanterelle and fry for 3 min, then remove.

Fry the onion and leek, then add the chanterelles again and fry for 5 minutes. Now add the meat back in.

Stir in the brisket and let it melt.

In the meantime, transfer water for the pasta and cook pasta as a side dish.

Served together, you have a good, filling main dish with the beef fillet with chanterelles.
