For the endive potato mash with smoked sausage, peel and wash the potatoes. Cut endive into narrow strips, wash and spin dry.

Cook the potatoes with salt in 20 minutes. Heat the smoked sausages in a pot. Fry the bacon cubes in a separate pot. Drain and mash the potatoes. Season with pepper and salt and add grated nutmeg.

Mix in endive and bacon cubes. Pour in a little milk, stir well and heat through at a moderate temperature for another 2-3 minutes.

Arrange the endive-potato mash on plates, slice the smoked sausages and put them on the endive-potato mash. If desired, add 1 tablespoon of gravy on top.

Serve the endive potato mash with smoked sausage and enjoy.
