For the potato loaf, peel and grate the potatoes. Peel and finely chop the onion. Beat eggs with a whisk until foamy and mix with potato grate and onions to a homogeneous mass.

Press garlic, chop chives and stir in both as well. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Heat butter in a frying pan and fry the loaves in portions.
