Tie the curd in a kitchen towel and let it drain over a bowl overnight. Finely grate de-barked, dried toast. Mix all ingredients well and chill for 1 hour. Form 12-16 mini dumplings from the mixture. Boil enough salted water with a little sugar, orange juice and the vanilla pod. Put the dumplings in and let them stand in boiling salted water for 6-8 minutes. Lift out and roll in the prepared sugar crumbs.
