Pasta dishes are always a good idea!

Cook the spaghetti in boiling hot salted water according to the package instructions.

In the meantime, coarsely crumble the two slices of wheat toast between your hands. Halve the chili pepper, remove the seeds, rinse and cut into tender strips. Peel and finely dice the garlic.

Heat oil in a frying pan and toast the crumbs in it, stirring throughout until crispy. Add chili pepper and garlic and heat just briefly.

Drain finished spaghetti, mix well with breadcrumb mixture. Serve immediately.

Serve with a tomato salad.
