For the zucchini cream soup, cut the zucchini into coarse pieces. Lightly sweat flour in butter, pour in wine and soup and bring to a boil, stirring repeatedly.

Add zucchini and whipped cream and let the soup simmer at low heat for about 20 minutes. Then blend the soup well with a hand blender.

Cut the toast into 1/2 cm pieces and fry in hot oil until golden brown, tossing frequently. Lift out and drain on a paper towel.

Season the soup with salt, pepper, crushed garlic and lemon juice and remove from heat. Add the thyme and stir well again.

Finally, bring to the boil again briefly and serve with the bread cubes.
