For the cream of pumpkin soup, cut the onion into small pieces. Heat butter in a saucepan and sauté the onion until translucent. Peel the pumpkin and cut into small cubes and add to the onions.

Deglaze with the soup and simmer for about 30 minutes. Finally, stir in the sour cream and season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Puree the soup and serve.
