Instructions:

Bring 2 liters of salted water to a boil, wash, peel and dice the potatoes. Wash and clean the cabbage and remove the stalk and all coarse parts.

Peel and wash the celery and also cut into cubes. Now add the vegetables together with the caraway seeds and pepper to the boiling water and cook over medium heat until soft.

Puree the vegetables with a blender or mixer and season with salt and pepper. Cut the smoked meat into small cubes and let it get hot in the soup, then remove the soup from the stove.

Mix the cream with the yolks until smooth and thicken the no longer boiling cream of cabbage soup with it.
