Instructions:

First soak the lentils the day before, the next day drain soaking water and cook slowly in lightly seasoned water or stock until tender. (Soaking is not necessary with sprouted raw lentils).

Fry diced onion and bacon together and add lentils. Deglaze with a little apple balsamic vinegar. Dust with a little flour if necessary, pour in cream and boil down briefly.

Season the creamed bacon lentils with salt, pepper and marjoram.
