For the communion cake, separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites to snow. Cream butter, egg yolks and powdered sugar. Stir in the melted chocolate.

Sift flour with baking powder and stir into the batter with the whipped cream. Finally, fold in the beaten egg whites. Grease and flour a cake pan, pour in the batter and bake at 175 degrees for about 50 minutes.

It is best to prepare the ganache the day before. For the ganache, pour whipping cream into a saucepan and bring to a boil, pull away from the heat and pour in the chocolate until melted. When cool, whip the ganache with a mixer.

When the cake has cooled, cut it once and fill it with ganache and spread ganache all around and refrigerate. Knead fondant until soft and place over the cake and smooth with a smoother.

Decorate as desired with flowers, grasses and girls.
