For the cherry marzipan cookies, knead a shortcrust dough from flour, butter and powdered sugar (100 g) and an egg as well as the pinch of salt, put in a cold place.

After an hour, knead the dough again, roll out and cut out slices. Place the discs on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 180 °C top/bottom heat for approx. 7 minutes.

Roll out the marzipan on the powdered sugar and cut out slices. Spread the cookie slices with jam and insert a marzipan slice.

Mix the glaze with sugar and juice, glaze and decorate the cherry-marzipan cookies with a piece of cherry.
