For now, put a pot of water on the stove to boil.
Put the flour and eggs in a bowl and mix. Add the water. If it is too thick add a little more water. If it is too runny, add some more flour to the mixture.
Once the dough is ready, use a spaetzle slicer to add the spaetzle dough to the boiling water. After about 5 minutes, the spaetzle should be ready.
Pour the spaetzle into a colander and rinse with cold water.
On the side, put a pan with a small piece of butter on the stove and grate the cheese.
Warm the spaetzle a little bit in the heated pan. Then add the grated cheese to the pan.
Finally, mix the herbs into the cheese spaetzle and serve the spaetzle.
