For the cheese soup, finely chop the onion and fry in a pot with oil until translucent. Add the flour and stir.

Deglaze with the soup and add the milk. Slowly bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Turn off the heat and stir in the processed cheese until everything is melted. Cut the gauda into pieces and add it as well.

Now gently heat the cheese soup again until everything is melted and nice and creamy.
