Instructions:

For the cevapcici, finely dice the onions and garlic. Both with the parsley to the beef and pork mince form and mix well. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder.

Using a medium ice cream scoop, cut 12 balls from the mixture. Roll balls with wet hands into sausages about 2 inches thick and 5 inches long. Flatten 4 meatballs a tiny bit and wrap the edge of each with 1 slice of ham and place on small skewers. Heat olive oil in a grill pan (alternatively a coated frying pan) and roast the cevapcici in it over medium heat for 5-6 min. Turn a few times in between to the other side.

For the bell pepper and tomato leaf salad, quarter the peppers lengthwise, remove the seeds, peel with a peeler and cut into 3-4 cm pieces. Cut onions into narrow strips.

Cut cherry tomatoes in half. Pluck basil leaves. Put everything in a salad bowl form. Add vinegar, olive oil and a small amount of salt and pepper and mix gently.

4. arrange leaf salad with cevapcici and skewers on flat plates and bring to table.
