For the celery bulgur loaf, place the bulgur in a colander and wash with cold water until the water drains clear. Bring the soup to a boil in a saucepan and add the bulgur. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 12 minutes, then let it swell for 5 minutes. Pour into a colander and let cool.

Finely chop onion and thyme, peel and finely grate celery bulb. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden. Add celery and thyme and sauté briefly.

Finely chop the parsley. Mix all ingredients well and season with garam masala, salt and pepper. Form loafs from the mixture with wet hands.

Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the celery bulgur loafs on both sides.
