For the carrot and pea vegetables, clean, wash and dice the carrots. Boil in hot salted water, then overcook the peas in salted water.

Brown flour in hot butter to make a preserves. Pour in a little water, add carrots and peas and season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.

Stir in sour cream and serve the carrot and pea vegetables sprinkled with parsley.
