For the Carrot and Pea Hirsotto with minced meat, first add the millet. Cook it in an open saucepan, adding water every now and then when the liquid has boiled away. Separately, peel and dice the potatoes and boil them in salted water.

Fry the beef mince in a pan with a little butter and grate the carrots. Add the potatoes, carrots and mince to the millet. Add butter, sour cream and milk until the desired creaminess is reached.
