Soak the rolls. Finely dice chicken fillet, cut spring onions into rings, chop parsley. Squeeze buns well, knead together with eggs, spring onions, meat, half parsley and sherry. Season with salt and pepper.

Fill cannelloni with mixture and place in a greased gratin dish. Finely chop garlic and sauté in hot oil. Add tomatoes, remaining parsley and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.

For the cheese sauce, heat fat, sweat flour in it. Add clear soup and milk, let it boil and simmer briefly. Mix in half of the cheese. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Pour the cheese sauce over the cannelloni and spread the tomato sauce evenly on top. Cut ham into tender strips and spread evenly over the top. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake everything together in a heated oven at 200 °C for 40-45 min.

Tip: It is best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
