For the cabbage soup with mushrooms, soak the mushrooms. Cut the meat into pieces and fry in the diced bacon.

Add the cabbage and garlic and stir-fry for a few minutes. Divide the squeezed mushrooms, cut the caps and discard the stems.

Add the caps to the meat and stir. Pour in the hot soup. Add salt, season and cook for another 10 minutes.

Mix some cornstarch with water to make a paste and stir gently into the soup. Sprinkle with Tabasco, stir and serve the cabbage soup with mushrooms.
