For the buttermilk rolls, make a yeast dough from all the ingredients in a food processor with the dough hook. Let the dough rise for 40 minutes in a warm place. The volume should have doubled.
Knead the dough again and form it into a roll. Cut this roll into pieces of equal size and shape the individual pieces into balls and flatten them slightly.
Place the rolls on a baking sheet and let them rise, covered with a kitchen towel, for another 20 minutes. Brush the rolls with a little water and bake in the oven at 200 °C for about 15 minutes.
