Instructions:

Soak the dumpling bread cubes with the hot milk and the teaspoon of butter dissolved in it and press with a lid and let it sit for 15 minutes. Add the eggs, a good pinch of nutmeg and the finely chopped parsley and mix well. Leave the dough to stand for about 10 min. Form dumplings and put them in boiling salted water in a large diameter saucepan. Cook the dumplings at low temperature for about 20 minutes. They are successful when they can be cut with a fork.
