Instructions:

Soak the beans in water the day before, boil in plenty of water until soft, drain and continue to use for the soup.

Place bacon on a baking sheet and fry at 160 °C for about 14 minutes until crispy.

Peel and finely dice the shallots and garlic cloves. Cut the green beans and chard into coarse pieces, remove the core from the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes.

In a wide pot, sauté the shallots, garlic, chard and green beans and pour in the soup. Simmer for about 10 minutes, then add the tomatoes, remaining beans and thyme. Season with salt, pepper and vinegar.

Just before serving, mix the bread into the soup and garnish with fresh basil and bacon.
