For the black bread dumplings with mushroom sauce, first peel the onion and cut the bacon into small cubes. Sauté both in a tablespoon of melted butter. Mix the bread with the onion and the bacon cubes.

Beat eggs with milk and pour over the bread. Add flour, butter, chopped parsley and spices and mix well. Let rest for about 20 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare the mushroom sauce. Clean the mushrooms and cut them into thin slices. Wash and finely chop the parsley.

Heat the butter and fry the mushrooms in it. Stir in flour and sour cream. Deglaze with the vegetable soup and simmer briefly to make the sauce creamier. Finally, stir in parsley, salt and pepper.

Heat enough salted water. Form equal-sized dumplings with wet hands, carefully put them into the boiling salted water, turn down the heat and let the dumplings cook for about 10-15 minutes, then strain them.

Serve black bread dumplings with mushroom sauce.
