For the Berlin bread, halve the hazelnuts and almonds. Place all ingredients except the powdered sugar and lemon juice in the mixing bowl of a food processor. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Let the kitchen machine knead the ingredients well. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Roll out the dough to the size of the baking sheet and place it on the baking sheet.

I press in advance the size of the cookies (2×5 cm) with a long ruler in the dough. Can be cut after baking then better.

Then put the baking tray for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees in the preheated oven. In the meantime, prepare the glaze. Make a smooth glaze with powdered sugar and lemon juice.

Immediately after baking, cut the Berliner bread while it is still hot. Then immediately brush with the lemon glaze. Let the glaze dry well and let the Berliner bread cool. Then store in well-sealed cookie tins and hide them!!! Otherwise they are gone very quickly!
