Instructions:

For the bean goulash, fry the finely chopped onion and garlic in a little oil. Then add the sausage in fine slices and fry briefly.

Add the kidney beans and the finely chopped peppers and pour in as much tomato juice as necessary to cover the whole. Then season with the spices and simmer for about a quarter of an hour.

Finally, add the peppers cut into strips to keep them crunchy. Simmer only very briefly and season if necessary.

Decorate with cress. Serve with lettuce and whole wheat rolls.
