Instructions:

A bean recipe for every taste:

1. beans in separate cooking pots form, cover with water and bubble. Cover and gently bubble adzuki beans for 40 min and black-eyed peas for 50 min until tender. Drain and rinse well.

2. Form into a wide dish and mash lightly with a potato masher or fork. Set aside.

3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet and lightly sauté onion for 3-4 minutes until soft. Mix beans with yeast extract, grated carrots, bread crumbs and seasonings. Combine well.

4.With wet hands, divide mixture into 6 portions and form 8 cm dia burgers. Put flour on a plate and turn burgers in it to the other side.

5. for the sauce, mix all ingredients until well combined.

Grill burgers over medium heat for 3-4 min on each side, brushing from time to time with remaining oil. Shape burgers into toasted burger buns and serve with mixed lettuce, fried baked potatoes and a spoonful of barbecue sauce.
