Instructions:

Remove the silver skin from the peel ribs, wash, pat dry and season with salt, pepper and paprika powder.

Cut the white cabbage into coarse pieces and place in the roaster and sprinkle with caraway seeds. Pour the water into the roaster and place the ribs on top.

Peel and quarter the potatoes and onions and place them around the ribs.

Cook at 160 to 180 °C for 90 minutes with a lid and another 50 minutes without a lid in the oven or in a closed grill.

Occasionally check to see if there is still water in the roaster and add more if necessary.

Remove ribs and serve.
